Maconaquah Baseball defeats Hamilton Hdights 7-3

Maconaquah traveled to Hamilton Heights and a windy Friday night. Deven Mitchell pitched a complete game for the win. Deven allowed 4 hits and 2 earned runs while stiking out 7. "I felt that Deven used his change up well tonight. He was able to spot the fastball when he needed to. He was huge for us tonight." Devon Murry got the Braves on the board with an RBI single in the 4th. Jayden Mercer led off the 5th with a Bennett Isenburg drew a walk. Then Cohen Helmuth hit a sac fly to right that plated Mercer and Isenburg. Chase Wasburn singled in the sixth, Nate Rader ran for him and stole 2nd. Jack Gochenhour was hit by a pitch. Then Mercer was at it again with a 2 out 2 RBI double which gave the Braves a 5-3 lead. Isenburg followed with a 2 run home run to push the lead to 7-3. The Braves are back in action at Twin Lakes on Saturday.
