Maconaquah Schools

Maconaquah trailed 3-2 going into the bottom of the 5th. Jayden Mercer fought off several good pitches to draw a lead off walk. He stole second base 3 pitches later. Then Bennett Isenburg drove a single to left center field to score Mercer. Isenburg stole 3B. The Chase Washburn doubled him home to give the Braves a 4-3 lead. The Braves would hold onto the lead the rest of the way for the win. Caiden Richards pitched a complete game giving up 4 runs (3 earned) while scattering 6 hits and striking out 5. The Braves were lead at the plate by Isenburg (3-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI). Chase Washburn and Deven Mitchell each had an RBI double. Adam Cannon had a single and Mercer reached base twice , scored twice, and stole 3 bases. The Braves are back in action on Monday vs Whitko.
