Braves Defeat Blue Devils in Four Sets Braves win against the Blue Devils in 4 sets finishing off the regular season. JV lost the battle in 2 sets 20-25, 13-25 finishing off their last game of the season. Varsity defeated the Blue Devils in a long 4 sets 22-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-21. We finish the regular season 21-8. The Braves fell to the Devils in the first set. After that the Braves decided to pick it up. Playing it close in each set, the Braves pulled through for the next 3 sets. The scrappiness and hustle allowed the Braves to do so. After adjusting to their play, we were able to control the tempo of the game and put the ball away when needed. Leading the team in aces is Averie Maiben with 4. Middle hitter Ireland Kile led us with 13 kills placing the ball where it was open. And following her with 10 kills was Nekane Hernandez. Setter Delaney Betzner led in assists with 15 and Averie Maiben had 12 assists. Our middle back Aubrey Kaiser had 16 digs and the Libero Addie Maiben had 13.
